The Emancipation Party

The Emancipation Party
The Emancipation Party comes into existence to fill the leadership void in the African American community. It has been almost a half century since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King...and the leadership void resounds across the nation: black leadership - in both church and state - has failed the needs, interests, yearnings and aspirations, of the masses of African American people. The question: what is to be done. Idealogues, theologians, philosophers, analysts, and meeting-going-talkers, seem to never tire of trying to know the world. But the point is to change it! To change it is not something you can just say, it must be matched equally by what you must do. Speakers of the word and listeners of the word, after a period of time, become self-imprisoned and paralyzed by the unwillingness to make the word become flesh and dwell among men.
